A dedication of the first Donor Plaque was held Saturday, June 25, 2011, after a morning of showers in Ogunquit. Families gathered to remember loved ones named on the granite post of the footbridge on the Marginal Way. More than two dozen contributors to the Marginal Way Preservation Fund, and their families, joined the Board of Directors in remembering their beloveds and to share in a luncheon provided by the nonprofit organization. The bronze Recognition Plaques are now filling up. These are the last legacy names to be allowed on the Marginal Way. There will be no more after this. A charitable donation of $10,000 will reserve a line. Please help us reach your community with this unique opportunity. If we use your idea, or a friend of yours reserves a Marginal Way plaque, we will send you a gallery gift. Thank you for helping us reach our Endowment goal to preserve the Marginal Way.
