Estate Planning for the Marginal Way

The Marginal Way Legacy Society is a giving society that honors and celebrates generous supporters who have made a commitment to preserve and protect Ogunquit’s spectacular footpath through a planned, or deferred, gift. These future gifts contribute to the growth of the Marginal Way’s Endowment Fund and will benefit future generations of Ogunquit visitors.

Picture of Penny Odiorne“My grandparents (Frank Walton Power) summered in Ogunquit in the 1890’s and owned a home across from the Ontio Hotel (since burned). My parents (Wendell Fales Power) owned a home on Beach Street and another on Cherry Lane. When I visit Ogunquit in the summer, I walk the Marginal Way every day. I have seen it transform from a gravel and poison ivy lined path to the beautiful walkway that it has become today.”
